I've been using quite a few of my own notebook textures lately, and while I know they are popular and there are quite a few sets, I just wanted to share mine because I think some of them are unique. I did almost all of the scanning on my own, except for two or three, namely the polaroids that are included in the larger textures. I decided to tack on the polaroid I get asked about so much ;) Anything I didn't scan came from sxc.

I've had a few ask where I got the texture for the getaway car icon. I got this texture from silverlilian  at graphic_sl , but she has deleted her graphic journal. Anyway, I got an idea. I thought I'd make a few of my own, since they seem to be needed, so I gave it a shot. I'm not sure they're as good, but they create that kind of effect. So I hope they will be useful!

I've put together several dotted (or blurred light) textures. I love to use these to add a hint of individuality to the icons and images I am creating. They're wonderful for so many purposes!  I just love them.

My first set of icon textures! I've made full size textures before, but I haven't tried it in the 100x100 sizing. It's difficult to fit detail into small spots, but I think they turned out all right. These textures are electric lights and will work to blend and cause lighting effects.. probably more :)
