not sure if this is really related to requesting images, but I rather like your LJ layout - even after being on LJ for quite awhile and poking around all my customization options, I still can't figure out how to design my own LJ layout and get it working - was wondering if you could give me a few pointers. ^^

Hm. I'm using layouts that are predesigned, but I think the biggest thing is to understand a bit of CSS. I've been able to customize a lot because I've gotten to know what's what. To make a full custom layout, I would think you could look at the CSS codes of the others to get an idea of what codes will effect what parts of the layout and just start customizing until you have your own designs and effects. Not sure if that helps, but I hope so!

could you please add text for me? i would love if it said "save this lovely day for your memories" on the middle-left side where the background is white. any font/color is fine as long as it is easily readable... i would really appreciate it!

I truly adore your work. And I also see that you have fan fiction in your quick nav. I believe you know that for some fanfictions, you can add a banner?

I want to request a harry potter fan fiction banner.
Lol. I'm not sure if this is okay with you, because:
1) I've never seen you make banners.
2) You may hate Harry Potter. And I'd have no idea.

I got a question for you, if that's ok. I have asked this one other person on the lj and I'm still waiting for their response. It's regarding the layout of yours that has this specific style.

This is not the first time I've seen something like this. People are using this technique more often these days. It's these little lights you place on a picture and the textures around it, like black shadow on the edges (you used it on the top of your header pic) and the notebooks around.

My questions would be:
1. Do you have any idea who "invented" or popularized this style?
2. Where do you find these lights?
3. Where did YOU find your light pictures (those small lights), so I'm asking for a specific place.
4. Do you know who's the most famous maker of those light textures/stocks?

I know that the last three may be like a same thing to you, if you know only one person who makes them, it's the only thing you know about the lights, right?

Still, if you can answer those questions for me, it'd be a real pleasure for me.

Would you mind making full sized textures? or do you already have some? If so,where are they!? I can't find them xp I'd like to add the effects i do on my icons on my pictures,too.Thanks! (:
